The Spark Naturals Patchouli oil has been distilled in stainless steel equipment, making it more pure and lighter in color.  It has a musky exotic aroma, a yellowish color and has a thicker viscosity than water.

Properties:

Antidepressant, Antiseptic, Aphrodisiac, Astringent, Deodorant, Diuretic, Insecticide, Sedative and Tonic

Historical Uses: 

Anciently used between cashmere shawls to protect merchandise from moths. Patchouli has also been used in linen and bedding to keep bedbugs away.  Patchouli has been used in Indian ink preparation.

Possible Uses:

Diffuse to fight anxiety and depression along with fight off insects

Apply topically mixed with creams, lotions and shampoos to rejuvenate and heal the skin or fight infections such as slow healing wounds, fungal infections or athletes foot.

Place a few drops in capsule and take internally to help with internal infections or stomachaches.

Bergamot, Clary Sage, Geranium, Lavender, Roman Chamomile, Myrrh, Ylang Ylang
